Dancing Leaf Mountain is in Western North Carolina on top of the Blue Ridge. Our family moved here from South Florida about 17 years ago. Allowing the Lord our God to lead us, we found ourselves in Asheville, North Carolina feeding the homeless and going to Calvary Chapel of Asheville. From this, we went on a Missions trip to Guatemala. Working with Our Pastors from Calvary Chapel and Vine International we helped in the ministry, that Dennis and Cindy McCutcfheon has full time, in Guatemala City. Here they run a medical warehouse and distribute medical supplies that are donated and sent from Knoxville, Tenn. They support many missions in Guatemala, such as Fundaninos, an orphange, a prison ministry, Barrios 4 Christ, and many hospitals. It was brought to our attention that the funds needed to support such a mission were drying up due to the economy and people in the U.S. losing their jobs. My wife and I then decided to go back to Guatemala, purchase products from the Mayans, bring them here to the U.S. for sale and send proceeds back to the missions in Guatemala. By purchasing our products, you are helping the Guatemalan people in many ways. First you help put monies into the Mayan economy. This provides economic opportunities for entire villages that otherwise have very little hope. Secondly, proceeds from your purchase go back to the missions in Guatemala that provide a much needed medical service and supply. But most important, understand it is our primary task to reach each Guatemalan with the "Good News" of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
But, then God had another plan... He gave us a building, a restaurant, The Tropical Grill. So we gave it back to Him, come and see for yourself!
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and the young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord will renem their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40: 29-31
